Beware turtlenecks in the rain. The neck gets wet and wicks the water down the shirt. You end up getting colder because of being wet.

My uniform consists of underarmour for warmth, Hongis Windstopper liner for wetness covered by a long sleeve shirt and lined windstopper pants.

The biggest problem is shoes and socks. They get wet no matter what you do.
