I worked as line judge in a game the other night where the home team never huddled. The receiver on my side was rarely (if ever) momentarily within 15 yards of the ball after the ready for play.

Never did the offense gain an advantage by trying to "hide" near the sideline. The defensive back always came out to cover the receiver. I never call this unless there is an advantage gained.

For what it's worth, I rarely if ever see this called. Should I be flagging this?
