This got me thinking.
I'm guessing that the reason there is a jump ball when the ball gets stuck between the rim and the backboard on a shot is because there is no team control, right? If this is the reasoning for it then what is the ruling if it happens on a cross court pass or an alley oop? Still a jump ball?
