I was curious about the Olympics and the rules and dimensions for baseball. In the 1976 Olympic games, all sports were converted to metric. All countries followed in this trend, and now, the United States is the last to convert. Baseball and football are American sports and the dimensions of the fields are not metric. I was wondering how they dealt with this problem at the Olympics. Did they use inches/feet or centimeters/meters in the dimensions when building the stadium in Athens?
