Hypothetical Offsetting penalties scenario:
A35 runs for a 5 yard gain. B22 tackles him with the facemask15 yards. However, on the play A was flagged for illegal formation. In NFHS and NCAA, do these penalties offset even though one is a safety concern?
Same scenario but late hit by B22, instead of facemask.
How about if A is guilty of a late hit and illegal formation? No fouls on B.
What do you use to determine what penalties get enforced in multiple/double/complicated mess fouls?
Any help would be greatly apppreciated.
