(no "local" rules)

PLAY: At the pre-game conference, the home team coach presents his line-up to the umpire, properly completed except the batting order does not alternate male and female. It is: 1m-2f-3m-4m-5f-6m-7f-8m-9f-10f. Neither the umpire or the opposing manager notice this infraction.

SITUATION A: After "4m" walks and before the next pitch (legal or illegal) the visting team manager alerts the umpire to the situation.

SITUATION B: In the fifth inning after all team members have batted at least twice, with "6m" just having completed his bat and "7f" stepping into the batter's box the visiting team manager alearts the umpire to the situation.

SITUATION C: In the fifth inning after all team members have batted at least twice, the umpire notices the situation prior to being informed by either manager.
