REPLY: He's still a referee in the Big 12 (right, Jason ??) but his "say" in football has been a little tarnished since he got accepted into the NFL (1996, I think) and then got bounced after a year or two. He even wrote an article for Referee Magazine talking about what he learned from being "fired."
