Knowing that Brandan is about 15, I thought that he might care to improve himself by learning the correct word and its use (noun vs. verb). Heck, it may even help him on an SAT someday.
As for Dan, while he is often truly funny, I wouldn't dare try to teach him anything new. Besides what they say about old dogs and new tricks, I'm afraid that he would start quoting Horatio again.
