Skip contacts and get the surgery.

I wore contacts for over 10 years and while they are better than glasses, they have major drawbacks.

They cost money and you need to wear the daily wear disposable type, if you want to keep your eyes healthy. Even with those your eyes will develop a scaley surface on the inside of your lids that will eventually keep you from wearing contacts at all.

Look into Lasik, spend the money in one shot, and forget about it.

I did it 4 years ago and it was the best move I ever made. I was seeing almost 20/15 20 hours after the surgery and I'm still 20/15 right now.
