Larry McKay does sort of handle the refs. The local association has one or two sites (every HS in Las Vegas has a main and auxilary gym) and the rest are left to camps. The NBA has a coast to coast camp, the SEC has a camp and the SWAC has a camp. I might be missing someone. Nevadaref probably comes down to work with the local guys. Mr. McKay probably "invites" some officials from the north. Nevada is such a small state population (officials) wise that we pretty much all know each other. He might also have been assigned some games by the local assigner.
