Well, a couple things about the article. He says the reffing in the NBA is consistent, and then he says it's unfair. Perhaps "consistent" means something different to him than it does to me.
The problem is that nobody wants the same thing as anybody else. If they cracked down and started calling more stuff, and more often, this guy might be happy, but someone else would be complaining about how the refs are treating the players like little kids, and they should be allowed to "play". I'm not saying I agree or disagree with either philosophy, just that the league can't win.
Low scoring games? Maybe he should move to Portland. The Blazers had a lot of high-scoring games this year -- well, actually the OPPONENTS of the Blazers did!
