I met Mr. Jim Blackwood when he came to Maui to address our official's association last summer. One thing he did that really impressed me was developing a consistent officating philosophy. And how he creates films by each position. 2 of our members know him pretty well because they have done the Hula Bowl every year and 1 is an alternate in the Western Athletic conference.

I'm thinking about attending a conference in the future, perhaps next year, and I was wondering if your conference was open to out-of-staters such as myself. I'm thinking about combining my vacation with football.
