Some of you misinterpreted my question. I was not talking stance so much as position.
I am considering whether to set up over the catcher, either on the inside corner or outside corner depending on where he is calling for the pitch. If he sets up in the middle, then I would pick the inside corner.
I think that getting a good view of a pitch on the corner is better than guessing if it was over the plate or not.
