Both lanes nearest the end line must be occupied by the opponent of the free thrower before any free throws may begin. It seems more and more like the teammates of the thrower are trying occupy this space these days. I do believe there are some coaches teaching this. Be paitent and ensure theses spots are occupied. Don't get in a hurry.
By the way Ken, don't be too quick to throw that delay of game techical out if you haven't issued the team waring first..!!
