I have trouble accepting habitual inferior work and lack of caring in any activity. I have trouble with lowering standards to allow the weak to participate. Saying that anyone should be allowed to officiate even if they do a horrible job, is analogous to promoting and graduating "students" who should flunk. Accepting only good performance would motivate most to achieve it. If not, the bad will stay bad because there is no reason to improve.
