Only if they don't expect official across the nation to do it for free...many may be willing to but I'd object the the presumptiousness of doing it.

Oppose...if they wish to save the ball at that cost, let them.

Oppose...skewed too far to defense now, this would eliminate just about every offensive change.

Oppose...works well as it is now...no need to return to the banging that occured on the release that too many official were too good (read weak) to call.

Oppose...if the defense is good enough, they'll knock the ball away and will have the ball. If they can't earn it by action, they shouldn't be given the ball by a new rule.
