I agree with you there, but at least it will open up some discussion and hopefully I will have less of Ol' Smitty screaming from the stands "The hand are part of the bat!"
I've have give this modified list to one of our high school baseball players to look over, and he questioned me on about half of them. Since my original posting, I have add a clarification regarding a foul tip:
· The ball is dead on a foul-tip. (A foul tip is defined as a batted ball that goes immediately to the catchers hand or glove and is legally caught. If the ball is not caught, then it is a dead ball.)
