My practice is about the same as JEL's
note the conference - inning & batter's number
clean plate
wipe off the sweat
head to the circle
Interestingly enough, I made it to the circle today in a college game. The coach was ripping the infield a new hole in the backside for mental errors. He ended it about 7-8 seconds after I got there.
Mike, While I know we CAN do either of those, I'm not so sure that we can do that & survive the rest of the game.
