maybe we are misunderstanding eachother

You guys dont agree that when a coach is arguing a play.. one of the motives for doing so is to try to get you to give them the next close play?

I'm not saying what you do or dont do.. I'm saying what their (the coaches) motivation is.. they want you to feel that you owe them a "maker upper" for the call you just blew...

Again I'm not saying it affects you calls, or even that you did blow a call, or you consider this or that in your calls, or you cater to a coach in anyway (in fact it may work opposite).. but I know in coaching.. every thing you do, everything you say is (should be) to try to help your team get every advantage you can... on a close play.. even if you know blue is probably right.. you make a comment... to try to get an advantage.

Do you think the coach actually thinks youre going to say:
"golly coach, youre right, your player is safe.. my bad".

They know thats not going to happen.

I'm just trying to understand your answers here...
