Personally you shouldn't signal at all, the R and other deep official should notice if it is ovious. You should always be ready for it, giving a signal or moving is just a way to tip off the receiving team, especially since your a HL, all you need is a coach chewing you out because the receiving team knew it was coming. I don't think anything should be done differently.
