Well that to me is not big timing anything. I like to know facts like that, because it gives me at least some persepective on the officials we are dealing with in these conversations.
I have a presentation at a big baseball clinic in my area and yes, I was asked to give a bio with information about the conferences I work, the playoff levels I have reached and other officiating positions I hold and anything that might give me credibility.
I worked with a State-Final Official last night. And when he says certain things, it adds credibility to the discussion and to what I might say or think about things. Nothing wrong with letting people know what you have accomplished.
I guess I do not get offended easily.
