The Team A coach requests and is granted a head coach's conference.

Grant Team A's request for a conference. Found out from flagging official if blocks were simultaneous. Pick up the flag and wave it off because a simultaneous high/low block is legal (i.e NOT a chop block). Team A has just won the game and the try is not attempted (unless needed for playoff qualifying). Get off the field as a crew with your escort and then rip the flagging official a new one for not seeing the entire play or for not knowing simultaneous blocks are legal (once safely in the locker room).

My first thoughts were also along these lines and now that I think about it I believe this was probably Uncle E’s intent to have us think of this as a possible chop block. But because he made no mention about the free blocking zone and the possibility of the slot back being outside the zone, I went with the block below the waist.
UGG! Good catch!

I'm trying to get my brain out of the persistent fog I've been in since the birth of my 5th child. Lack of sleep can do weird things to your brain.

Slot{b}BACK[/b] indicates he was in the backfield. And players not on the line of scrimmage cannot block below the waist. So we have a block below the waist (not a chop block). I guess the real question to ask the flagging official is, "What do you have?" If he says a "chop-block" shoot him on the spot
