Yes, 1983-84 school year: Monrovia (Calf.) H.S. at La Canada (Calf.) Flintridge H.S. I was the L opposite the Table, early in the second quarter, when V1 drives in for a layup and gets fouled by H1 who was trying to block V1's shot. Nothing unusual about H1's foul; H1 was about 5'-11" and V1 was 6'-06", 250lbm and headed for the Univ. of Nebraska on a football scholarship. To my suprise, V1 turned around and cold-cocked H1 in the jaw. Now I have a false double foul. First foul: personal foul by H1 against V1; second foul: flagrant technical foul by V1. Now comes the good part. My partner is administering the technical fouls for V1 technical foul and I was standing at the division line opposite the Table to administer the ensuing throw-in, when it finally dawns on Coach V that his star player has been ejected. In between the first and second technical free throw, Coach V comes charging across the court calling my a mother f*****g b*****d. Yes, Coach V was gone on one flagrant technical foul.
