I know this is not what the original poster is looking for, but I'm gonna disagree with this last comment. The best call to ensure (not insure, unless you're an independent agent ) player safety is a foul against the first kid to land on the player with the ball. For some reason, when kids see the ball on the ground, they think it's a football game. To avoid the pile, simply penalize the first kid to pile on.
