When you consider Rose is a broke (and broken) has-been with a new book & required book tour it becomes easier to see why he decided to 'fess up now. As for his deal with Giamotti - MLB had the guy on tape making bets (or damn cloe to that) apparently. I guess if I was Giamotti I might have offered him the deal he took or offered to hand the info over to the feds to look into. What other choice did Rose have?
