Often, this works out on it's own:
  • The contact is not found;
  • The contact is damaged;
  • The eye is watering;
  • The solution is in the locker room.
    Like Rut said, "judgment"; do what feels good to get a sub, or not.

    If the clock is stopped, bring in any subs when the entering subs won't be causing additional confusion to the eye lens.
