Somebody give me a close game, please.
Last night 71-31. Season started last Tuesday and my closest game in three games thus far was 12 points and it wasn't that close until the end (winning team cleared the bench early - before that it was over 20 points).
There's such a disparity between the haves and the have nots in high school basketball.
I was amazed at how fast the game finished last night, though. Started at about 7:45PM and was showered, dressed, and in the car by 9:05. Of course we only had 5 fouls the first half. No mercy rule, either.
But I'll take that close game now. Two more chances this week -- boys varsity Thursday and Friday.
