Honestly, Rocky, no it doesn't. The game was interrupted while the shot was in the air. Maybe I'm not understanding exactly what the POI is in this situation (obviously
), but it seems to me that the POI occurs when there is no team control. How can you blow the whistle when there's no team control and then say that the game was interrupted when the ball was B's disposal
after the made basket? I don't get it. And NCAA 4-50 doesn't help, b/c it specifically says you give the ball "to the team that was in control" at the time the game was interrupted.
