Last night on NFL Total Access on the NFL Channel, Mike Pereirra reviewed this and other calls made on Sunday. He stated that this is a foul since the defender led with his head down even though he hit first with his shoulder. It was a safety issue for both players.
By the way, this is a great feature they are now doing every Monday nite for those of us who love to review these plays to death. Unfortunately, I think its only available on Directv.
