From 2003-2004 NFHS Basketball Rules:
Rule 5-7-3: "The length of each extra period shall be four minutes (or half the time of a regulation period for non-varsity games)."

Right -- that's an "unannounced" rules change for this year.
In prior years, the rule was 4 minutes for OT, 3 minutes in games of 6-minute quarters.
So, by rule, if you played 7-minute quarters, you'd still have a 4-minute OT under the prior rule. Now it will be 3:30.
