I became a Cubs fan in 1969, for those of you who remember the year of the "Miracle Mets," you can imagine the kind of frustration that I have lived with when it comes to the Cubbies. Yet every spring breathes a breath of fresh air, the ivy at Wrigley is nothing more than bare, virginal vines, and once again, anything is possible.
