Jmo,but I think that the ball had better go up in a case like this, to even be thought of as a try.

I think I can picture this play, and I would lean to calling a travel if the ballhandler got the ball back, This would be similar reasoning, to me, as when an out-of-control dribbler drives the lane and forces contact on the arm of a defender.
In neither case will I reward the ballhandler (ie. bail 'im out)
