I re-read your question and realize that my term, Designated Throw-in Spot, for the eight “magic spots”, needs to be tweaked.

The eight “magic spots” are only for Designated Spot Throw-ins. And the best new term that I can create is: Designated Spot Throw-in Spot. I agree that it is not very elegant but it really does accurately define one of the eight “magic spots.
