Think about how many officials and games there are in an association and you're never going to have enough observers available to watch and give people feedback. And you're going to have even less if the association has to pay for it per game.

I do it for free for my former association, but I only go to games if someone requests me or if it's an official I'm already mentoring. A vast majority of high school officials I have dealt with are not really interested in constructive feedback. They just want games.

The best way to get better is to regularly review video of yourself (not focused on call validation) and to attend at least one instructional camp every offseason, and not the same one every year. I have found the best instruction geared towards improvement is from NBA affiliated officials.
