Transfer Without Moving One's Domicile ...

I have no idea what the transfer rules are in Connecticut today, but twenty plus years ago, if a student athlete transferred without moving one's domicile, they had to sit out a certain number of games.

A former middle school basketball player of mine transferred from our public high school to a Catholic high school without a domicile move, the transfer due to a coaching change at the public high school. Sat out several games before being allowed to play.

I doubt that the transfer rules are the same today with many magnet school and charter school choices available to student athletes.
