Anybody agree that the ump blew the call at 1B in the 8th inning when he ruled a Braves' runner safe in what would have been an inning-ending double play?
Initially, the announcers claimed that F3 had tried to "steal" the out by leaving the bag soon. But on the second or third replay, one of them said, "Questionable call." Looked out to me from the beginning.
(Sorry I can't supply the players' names. But cite some teams from the late 1950s or early 1960s, and I'll give you most of the roster.)
