Never met him but have heard similar, i.e. that’s he’s one of the nicer human beings you’ll ever meet. Can’t help but root for him and be happy to see how quickly he recovered.
It turns out that the event last year may have saved his life. He had an unknown underlying condition that, had it not manifested so publicly, might have been suddenly fatal later, especially if the setting had been more private. Being carted off that court was the best thing that ever happened to him.
