From 2022 Men's Basketball Rules Survey:
- Widen the lane to 16 feet.
- No longer permit a defensive player to establish legal guarding position in the lane by having two feet on the floor for the purpose of taking a charge. The defensive player would be required to have both feet off the floor and to attempt to block the shot.
- Disqualify a player on the player’s fourth foul in any single period or a total of six in a game.
- Eliminate the warning for flopping before assessing a Class B technical foul.
- In the last two minutes of the second period or of any overtime period, allow instant replay review of potential shot-clock violations when the shot is unsuccessful. (It is already permissible for successful goals.)
- Allow the use of all numbers from 0 to 99 on uniforms.
- Further reduce free throws when both teams commit fouls and free throws are equal.
