Over forty years. Never had this.
Small-ish middle school gym. Seconds left in second quarter. Player launches a high altitude missile from deep in his backcourt as a last second desperation try. I'm trail. Ball goes about as high as I've ever seen a ball go. Ball passes over the steel beam holding up the roof between the triangular steel braces. Ball touches nothing, buzzer sounds, ball clangs off of rim.
