The Lead should have pinched the paint when the Guard picked up his dribble and then rotated when the pass went to the far sideline.
The Center official had no reason to step all the way out past the top of the 3-point line.
Whether or not proper positioning would have changed the ruling is pure speculation, but it would have removed from the discussion that the officials did not see the play clearly because of where they were standing.
