Fun With Incidental Contact …

Is this a team control or a player control foul? Observe the play and make a determination if the action in the post is a team control foul. If you deem this is incidental contact in the post, make a determination if there is a blocking foul or a player control foul.

Three choices: This is a team control foul (foul in the post). This is a blocking foul. This is a player control foul.

My comment: This is a player control foul. Incidental contact in the post. Defender established legal guarding position and was there first on the drive to the basket.

Early comments by IAABO officials who viewed the video are across the board for all three choices.

Thoughts?
