Sidebar to IAABO high school signals.
Most guys on my local high school board give only a punch for a player control foul, seldom using the hand-behind-the-head signal.
Been seeing this for forty years.
Our trainers know this but don't seem to want to broach the subject, ignoring it because they know how distasteful and unacceptable it will be to the most of the guys (and by guys, I mean guys and gals).
