Not everyone that is an IC is an official. I am technically one in both officiating and my regular job. I get paid on commission and earnings on things I sold. So on some level that could apply to a lot of other people beyond officiating. I am still trying to figure out how this will apply to my regular job if at all. But either way it goes it appears it does not apply to just officials. The point of all of this is to help stimulate the economy and a lot of people that make money are not W2 employees.
