Canuck,

If it were me, I would give the guy a call and tell him that the player mentioned it. Personally, if the guy got called at the last minute and called a good game, then I would not report it. As you said, he probably wasn't expecting to work and just had a beer with dinner.

But I would tell him that somebody noticed, just so that if he gets a call from the assignor, he'll be prepared. Just my opinion.
