After years of watching college softball on ESPN, I don't wonder anything anymore. They seem to seek out people who, while they may have played the game, have the least grasp on the rules and or flow of the game. The talking heads often want to second guess the umpiring crew, more often than not, incorrectly. Best thing to do is just turn down the volume!
