Usually in a case like a 40 point blow out, the main concern is getting the game over ASAP. Although every official has their breaking point on whining coaches, especially in this scenerio. I might tell both coaches as soon as the game started getting out of hand, that my partner and I are only going to call the obvious, aggressive fouls. Usually the coaches I tell this, agree.
