Anyway, here is my question:
Why does the play continue when an IW has sounded. The rule I have been told is to dropyour bag at th espot you hear it, continue to officiate, the mark form there. I am only speaking of run plays, why do ou let the play continue? The choicesare for teh team in possesion are to: (a) reply down (b) take results of play at the bagged spot. So, WHY do we let the play go. Anything that happens will be immeterial

You've gotten your wires crossed somewhere. You do not allow the play to continue if an IW occurs. When the whistle sounds, the play is dead.

Next part, will you ever put time back on the clock if an IW? Pay last Fri night. :33 time. snap, handoff run . whistle is heard 3 seconds into play, bag dropped. Team continues to run and scores an appearant TD. time on clock is now :21. So, explain to coach (get my *** chewed on-not our fault) TD brought back. Coach then claimed that since ball is brought back, time should be put back on. I thought about it and did agree. COuld not find support in any book on this topic.
Thanks

No, you do not put time back on the clock.
I don't know who's teaching you guys to let the play continue but they are badly, badly mistaken!!
