NFHS--Back Row Attack

Rule 9.5.4 says "A back-row player (on or in front of the attack line), cannot contact the ball completely above the height of the net and complete an attack."
Question: Is it legal for a back-row player, from behind the attack line, to jump toward the net and complete an attack above the height of the net, then touch the floor on or in front of the attack line?
I am thinking this would be similar to a player jumping toward the net, serving the ball, then landing on or in front of the end line.
