Our chapter Pres gets real PO'd when he sees white sox.
I did call a Jr. High game once when my partner ( a sub from another organization) showed up wearing shorts. I was appalled.
This summer I did my first off season league, showed up in pants. Everyone else had shorts.
My general feeling is that we are not supposed to draw attention away from the game and towards us. Having a nice looking uniform is part of that mantra.
