Fixing plate shoes? New Balance 460s - Blown out toe/instep guard

For the second time in under a year, the instep guard on my NB 460 plate shoes has torn "loose" at the toe. It's still attached but it flops up now. I don't want to buy new shoes again....these aren't even fully broken in yet!

It looks like it needs restitched but I have no way of doing this. Anyone have any success fixing this problem? Would it work to just Shoe Goo it down?

I like the toe design on the new NB 460's....but I hate the mesh on the sides of the upper.
